In 1906,San francisco was still a little fronteir city. However, it was also the largest city in america west,a great port sitting on the shores of the pacific ocean. In the Marina District of San francisco, buildings collapsed and fires broke out .In other parts of the city, building walls collapsed,in some cases falling on top of cars.More than 200,000 books fell off the shelves of a large downtown library, scatterd over the floor.Yet much of the city wasnt touched by the earthquake or was barely affected.I think that the book was good an had a lot of exciting things in it.
